Choose the Right Hair Length

So, how many cap constructions does Goodyard offer? And what are the differences between them? How do you choose? Well let’s explain this!
The wig cap constructions we offer are the lace front cap, full lace cap, glueless full lace cap, monofilament cap, and the silk top cap.

■ Lace Front Wig

Lace Front Wig cap construction is very natural-looking, creating an invisible hairline and giving the illusion of hair growing right out of your scalp. Lace Front Caps have lace in the front and traditional wefts in the back. In the front lace area, you can part your hair freely. For the weft area, we also add an elastic net inside of the cap which makes the wig comfortable and durable. Our lace front wig has clips and combs pre-sewn into the cap and an adjustable strap in the back which can be tightened an inch. The lace, after all, is delicate, so be careful not to pull or stretch it out.

Lace Front Wig

●Natural-looking front hairline
●Closed weft with elastic net inside of the cap
●Clips/Combs already sewn in
●Competitively less expensive
●Handled with care

■ Mono top wigs

For Mono Top Wigs, the top portion of the cap is made from a very fine, sheer material called monofilament. Monofilament wigs have been known as the best wig for cancer patients as it is a perfect combination of style and comfort. A monofilament wig creates the illusion of natural hair growth and offers you natural hair movement.

Mono top wigs

●Soft comfortable cap
●Friendly on sensitive scalps
●Natural hair movement

■ Full Lace Wigs

Full Lace Wigs are 100% hand-tied human hair wigs. Each hair is hand-tied onto a mesh base to create the most natural hair growth and provide a super soft fit. With a full lace wig, wherever you part your hair, you will have the natural appearance of scalp. A full lace wig imitates most successfully the natural movement of real hair and can be worn in a variety of styles such as a high ponytail or updo. A full lace wig takes 40 hours of work to make, so they are pricier. However, it is a worthy investment considering its unique features.

■ Glueless Lace Wigs

Glueless lace wigs don't need to be secured using glue. Glueless lace wigs are 100% hand tied and have all the benefits of a full lace wig. A glueless lace wig has combs and clips already sewn into the cap, as well as an adjustable strap at the back which can be tightened by an inch. For beginners, a glueless lace wig is recommended.

■ Silk Top Wigs

Our luxurious silk top wigs offer a life-like skin toned base that resembles a real scalp, as well as maintaining all the benefits of a lace and mono cap construction. Using a tri-layer system, when the hair is knotted, the knots are made below the silk concealed between the layers, the hair is then injected through the silk material making the knots 100% invisible, giving the illusion that the hair is actually growing out of your scalp.

How to Choose a Right Density?

Correct Hair Density = Most Natural Appearance.

Hair density refers to how thick the hair is. Deciding which density to choose is a personal preference. Some people might like to add a little bit of volume so that their hair looks natural on a daily basis and some people like to have a red-carpet-stars volume on a daily basis as well.

■ Know the density of your naturally grown hair

It is very crucial to know the density of your naturally growing hair in order to effectively choose a hair system flawlessly matching your own one.

■ Age is also a factor determining an effective hair system

Age is another crucial factor helping you to choose the correct hair density. To be more specific, say you are a young woman then thicker (medium) type of hair density will suit you more than an older age who will look better in lighter hair density.

■ Hair Style also plays a vital role in choosing an effective hair density

Hair styles contribute in giving your hair a natural and real look. Thick pattern of hair shall suit better to a layered hair style. One can go for adding bouncy curls to a thin hair density to make it look fuller and thicker

Extra light 50% This has too thin density
Light 80% It is extra light density. Here, when the hair is parted it shows the scalp, making your hair look unreal.
Light to medium 100% This hair density is like the above one, when the hair is parted it shows the scalp. But this hair best suits the 65+ women.
Medium 130% It is the regular hair density. Nowadays in trend in the wig market.
Medium to heavy 150% This is the normal density ideally suited for women in 20s, 30s, and even 40s.
Heavy 180% This density is a too heavy one. It suits the special type of thick wigs
Extra heavy 200% We do not recommend this density.
■ How to choose a right color and hair texture

Unlike hair toppers, you have to choose a hair color or texture that closely resembles your own hair. Human Hair Wigs can cover up all of one’s natural hair. People can choose a hair color or texture as desired and without damaging their own hair!
